We pride ourselves on the quality of our candidates,. We recruit from several sources to ensure we find you the best candidates to match your requirements of the care recipient.

We begin by ascertaining the person’s suitability for special needs health care, and determine the most suitable position for them. We ensure all our candidates are interviewed in person and have at least two positive references; we also perform an police clearance. Specialised Care Services is an equal opportunities employer and we recruit on skills and experience, not everyone who applies is invited to register with us.

We ensure our carers are suitably experienced at working with specials needs people. They may have backgrounds in special needs childcare, nursing, teaching & healthcare related professions. Or have cared for family/Whanua members in the past.
